about

You know that album where the artist suddenly does unexpected stuff, like when someone known for orchestral rock suddenly throws in some grunge, 90s electronica, 40s nostalgia, and a sprinkling of power pop? Kinda like that.

This album seems to have appeared out of nowhere like an unexpected pregnancy - abruptly here it is, and it's twins too. Check out "Erratic" for some more oddball offerings. Meantime, this album contains a mixture of songs written over the last three or four years. I suppose, once again, it's documenting something or other. But whatever - enjoy!! ; )

about

Thinking Aloud Aberdeenshire, UK

Me? I'm a sort of one-man orchestral rock / chamber pop band (with mellotron leanings), trying to create something a bit different. Influences range from the Moody Blues, through Tori Amos and John Denver, to the Divine Comedy, Pet Shop Boys and beyond. Just music for the fun of it - hope you enjoy! ... more
